VODJet runs on Windows and is designed to process long stream recordings locally on your computer. Before installing, check the minimum and recommended requirements below to make sure your PC can handle your VODs smoothly. Minimum requirements are the basic specs needed to run VODJet. If your PC meets these requirements, you should be able to install the app and generate clips from your streams.

  • Processor: Modern multi-core CPU.
  • Memory: At least 8 GB RAM.
  • Storage: Enough free space for your VOD files and exported clips.
  • Graphics: No dedicated GPU required. VODJet runs on any Windows PC; an NVIDIA GPU enables hardware-accelerated export for faster clip generation.

Recommended Requirements

If you regularly work with long 1080p or 4K VODs, the recommended specs will give you a smoother experience and faster processing times.

  • Operating system: Windows 11.
  • Processor: Multi-core CPU with stronger performance.
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM or more.
  • Storage: SSD recommended.
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GPU strongly recommended — VODJet uses NVIDIA NVENC for hardware-accelerated export, which is 5–10× faster than CPU-only rendering. AMD and Intel GPUs fall back to CPU encoding.

VODJet works best for streamers who record long gameplay sessions and want to create clips quickly after the stream ends.
